POLYLINE-
2D Polyline is a connected sequence of
segments, it can be drawn like a line, but it has other properties too, like
line segments, arc segments or a combination of two, it has width properties,
we can change its line width also.
Besides this we can select polyline with a
single click.
Draw a Polyline
to specify start point simply click in drawing
area from where you want to specify or type (x, y) Co-ordinates to specify start
point, then specify second point by clicking or by typing co-ordinates, then
third point, fourth point and so on.
For example: draw a rectangle by clicking or by co-ordinates method (see image-01 & image-02)

Draw Straight Polyline with Arc
To Draw a polyline with arc,
first activate polyline command by typing or by choosing from draw ribbon menu,
specify start point from where you want to draw then draw a straight line by
typing length or by specifying (x, y) co-ordinate for arc click at arc from
command bar
We can use any of three option to draw an arc
accordingly

Example: Draw Given Shape Using
Polyline Command
First activate polyline command by typing PL Command
Specify start point, then draw
line 20 unit then for arc click on arc from command bar or type A from keyboard then press enter, then
for center method click on Center
from command bar or type C from
keyboard then press enter
Type radius 5 unit then press enter & Then Click, for straight line click on Line from command bar or type L for line then press enter, then type 20 unit then press enter, for arc click on arc from command bar or type A from keyboard then press enter, then for center method click on Center from command bar or type C from keyboard then press enter Type radius 5 unit then press enter & then Click on start point or click on close form command bar or type C to close it
Half Width &
Width
For Halfwidth & Width, after activating Polyline command specify start point, then for Half width/Width click on Halfwidth/Width from Command bar or Type H/W then press enter key, after this specify starting Halfwidth/Width then press enter, then specify Ending Halfwidth/Width Then press enter

Note: Halfwidth Means Distance from center
to one side edge & Width Means edge to edge distance
